Marvel MaXimum Collection on Nintendo Switch

I didn't think this was possible. Some of Marvel's best retro games from different publishers collected with rewind and save states. I was finally able to beat Spider-Man and The X-Men: Arcade's Revenge! The new art by Oliver Barrett is the cherry on top.

For better or worse, they managed an authentic, albeit abbreviated, port. After the training mission each hero gets only one level. I was hoping they would skip the Storm swimming levels and give us her one platforming level, but alas. It's the most playable version.

Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, Episode 8

God damn. This felt like the big finale the Netflix Marvel shows deserved. I was completely along for the ride. The building suspense got me high and my heart fell at several truly shocking moments. That Kingpin hallway scene will forever be burned into my brain.

Black Panther (2016) 1-18, 166-172, Annual, Black Panther (2018) 1-25

Ta-Nehisi Coates meticulously rebuilds Wakanda from the ground up before expanding to the stars in a sci-fi epic of biblical proportions. He even effectively pulled off some dreaded MCU synergy. Plus, they got CZARFACE on a dope track to help promote it!

Doom 2099: Rage of Doom (2026) 1

Spinning out of One World Under Doom, this is a fun time elevated by Von Randal’s incredibly awesome art. I would love a new Doom 2099 ongoing with this creative team. If that isn't in the cards give me a limited series, or even a new Doom 2099 led Exiles!

Planet She-Hulk (2025) 1-6

This series was completely derailed by the cancellation of the current cosmic line. The last issue may be the most rushed ending I've ever read. I actually liked Hiro-Kala and he was the last thing keeping Sakaar recognizable. Bad ending aside, it needed to be funnier.

Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, Episode 7

The supporting cast take the reins, allowing room to breath before the finale. Heather Glenn has impressively gone from weak link to asset this season. Surprisingly, Jessica Jones isn't working and I really worry about what they have planned for Luke Cage.

Marvel Legends Warbird

I'll always prefer the classic Ms. Marvel costume, but this update was overdue. The build is sturdy, the elbows don't get in the way and she comes with the old school thick mask variant head. I thought she always had heels, but the thin mask era didn't, so it works.
