Black Panther: Intergalactic (2025) 1-4

Having T'Challa just go up against clones of earth villains is a total waste of the cosmic setting that is meant to differentiate this series. At least Shuri has her magic crow powers back. If this is the direction it was headed the cancelation was probably a good idea.

What If...?: The Mighty Thor (2026) 1

Technically, this was already done in "What If The Alien Costume Possessed Spider-Man." The only thing really new here is the inclusion of Knull and I've had just about enough of him lately. That joke about his name was almost worth price of admission though.

Godzilla: Infinity Roar (2026) 1-5

It's impossible for me to be impartial about Cosmic Marvel versus Godzilla. This book is a beautifully rendered dream come true. My only complaint is the format ruins the endings, as Godzilla is passed to the next series like a baton. Five issues is a real catch-22.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine on Xbox 360

This is incredibly impressive, especially for a rushed tie-in to a bad movie. The combat feels brutal with dismemberment and environmental kills. The battle damage and healing is the spotlight, somehow looking even better here than the long awaited PS5 game.

Storm: Earth's Mightiest Mutant (2026) 1-5

X-Men: Red was a hard act to follow, but Murewa Ayodele kept me interested with cosmic scale escalation and picking up lingering plot threads. Sadly, Tom Brevoort has prematurely killed another fun cosmic series, leaving an epic build-up with absolutely no pay-off.

Punisher for Nintendo Entertainment System

Easily one of the best NES Marvel games. It's a shooter like Hogan's Alley with autoscrolling and the occasional clunky Punch Out style boss fight. It has impressive aim and destructible environments, but there's no music outside of the occasional Jazzman.

Planet of the Apes Versus The Fantastic Four (2026) 1-4

These properties fit together like peanut butter and banana. Josh Trujillo handles them with care and I've been a big fan of Andrea DI Vito since Annihilation. I'd love a follow-up with the same creative team. Give me Fantastic Four vs Star Trek too while you are at it!

Spider-Noir Season 1

I still can't believe this is real. Whoever said Nicolas Cage is channeling Humphrey Bogart via Bugs Bunny is spot on and I wouldn't have it any other way. It has the cinematographer of Twin Peaks: The Return, so make sure to watch in glorious black and white!
