Marvel Legends Uncanny Spider-Man (Nightcrawler)

I was ecstatic to add this to my Krakoa era X-Men toy collection, bringing the total up to four. Swashbuckling and wallcrawling are a great fit. He even comes with a little BAMF cloud. His awkward grip is my only real issue. Now bring on the Hellfire Gala and Rasputin IV.

Ultimate X-Men (2024) 1-24

I wasn't really familiar with her game, but between Marvel Rivals and this I am now a big Peach Momoko fan. The X-Men are reimagined as a dark fairytale set in Japan, rendered in ethereal watercolour. It has a dream like pacing but gets a little fast and loose by the end.

Alien Vs. Captain America (2025) 1-4

What a pleasant surprise. The inclusion of the Kree and classic Captain Marvel added dimensionality. The WWII setting is uniquely compelling. There is something hilariously absurd about soldiers storming Normandy on D-Day only to be met with a Xenomorph horde.

Eyes of Wakanda Season 1

It doesn’t nearly reach the impossibly high bar of the films, but it’s about time we got to spend more time in this corner of the world. The concept and art style are incredibly strong but the animation and direction don’t do them justice. We need a traditional Black Panther cartoon now.

X-Men III: The Official Game on Xbox 360

It is bare bones and can be beaten in a single sitting, but is set before the movie so as to not spoil anything, which I like. I also commend them for including Iceman and Nightcrawler, even if they don't play well. The bad photoshop cutscenes are laughable.

X-Men III: The Official Game on Nintendo DS

It's all touchscreen so you auto-attack colour coded enemies needing specifically Wolverine, Iceman or Magneto to deal damage. It wants you to replay the painfully boring levels to 100% for upgrades. Magneto is the only one who justifies touch controls.

X-Men III: The Official Game on Nintendo Game Boy Advance

This is a pretty basic side-scroller that has you swapping on the fly between Wolverine, Iceman, Nightcrawler and Colossus. You could just run right past enemies, but will need their collectable rage meter to beat the bosses. The Chris Bachalo art is the best part.

Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur Season 2

This was the perfect cartoon and Disney killed it. They banned the completed trans sports episode "The Gatekeeper", so I fear the cancelation was political. In a just world this would have run ten seasons and fuelled the nostalgia of kinder and smarter generations of children.
