Wonder Man, Episode 4

Surprisingly, the best episode so far doesn't even feature Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Ben Kingsley. This black and white Doorman detour was a wonderful surprise. It was so good I now want the Marvel Spotlight label to be an anthology series of obscure characters origins.

Wonder Man, Episode 3

I can definitely picture Demetrius Grosse fully decked out as the Grim Reaper. Unfortunately, I doubt we'll get there because that would take more than one season. The dialogue is incredibly relatable. That line about feeling lonely surrounded by movie posters felt targeted.

Wonder Man, Episode 2

I have zero interest in Damage Control or Trevor, so it’s up to Yahya and he is carrying it easily so far. Joe Pantoliano was truly the perfect choice for that cameo. Timing the viewer finding the characters right as they are developing them is incredibly elegant meta story telling.

Wonder Man, Episode 1

I’m one of those sickos who liked the Mandarin twist, but I hated Trevor in Dustin Daniel Cretton's otherwise superb Shang-Chi. A meta peek under the hood feels well overdue with how Marvel took over Hollywood the last 20 years. So far it's just a fun time with two masters of their craft.

Lego Marvel's Spider-Man: Peter Parker's Apartment (2025)

I needed some smaller building sets to fill out my Marvel New York cityscape, but this this was a disappointment. It's just so insubstantial. I would easily ditch Anti-Venom and the Spider-Slayer to add another floor to this thing. That Hobgoblin minifigure is a keeper though.

Lego Marvel Avengers: Mission Demolition

Why are there only two episodes? Hawkeye begrudgingly teams with cat themed heroes to stop a toxoplasma gondii invasion. It's got some charm but the climax with The Sphinx was a big let down. Luckily, that bizarre Christmas themed stinger helped to softened the blow.

Marvel Legends The Punisher (Daredevil: Born Again)

They really captured Jon Bernthal's mean mug and massive Italian quiff. I really hope he keeps this hair in Spider-Man: Brand New Day just so I don't need another figure. He sports a blade, hatchet and pistol. The worn-out skull looks great across his tactical gear.

Lego Marvel's Avengers on Xbox One

The story mode is a mess. If they are just sampling voices from the movies it should have a level for each film at least. Cutting the comics content for a complete MCU Phase 1 and 2 would have differentiated it. It's more polished overall, but the last boss crashes in co-op.
