Marvel Legends Blackheart Build-A-Figure

I had planned to hold out for a Shuma-Gorath to complete my Marvel Vs. Capcom team, but this set was just too good to turn down. He’s imposingly tall with decent textures, but the lack of a bendy tail is pretty disappointing. Now I just need to find some tiny demons.

Agatha All Along Episode 9

It's an emotional epilogue that masterfully recontextualizes the entire series. They reverse the format of the last episodes of WandaVision, which really helps to differentiate the two series that share the theme of using magic as an escape from grief into fantasy.

Agatha manages to catch up to WandaVision by the end of The Witches' Road. The feeling of dread is palpable. Aubrey Plaza is phenomenal. Her casting feels like an Infinity Gauntlet wish come true. It was the perfect Halloween treat punctuated with a devious trick.

Werewolf By Night In Color

They swapped out the Universal Monsters black and white for Dario Argento style lighting. The color isn't really doing the CG blood any favors. It works well enough, but I'm definitely going back to the original next Halloween. You just can't improve perfection.

Venom: The Last Dance

It's technically better than Let There Be Carnage, but is no longer so bad it's good. It's the type of trilogy closer that literally throws the franchise in the wood chipper before turning the lights out. The highlight again is the CZARFACE banger on the soundtrack.

Agatha All Along Episode 7

All the cards are shown leading into next weeks two-part finale. Patti LuPone's Lilia Calderu felt under-utilized until now, but they really managed to pull her arc together and wrapped it in a neat bow. The costumes were fun but I don't see how they pertained to the trial.

Marvel Legends Crystal & Lockjaw 2-Pack

I balked at the price at first but I'm actually impressed with the heft of my boy Lockjaw. His swappable muzzle and sitting hind legs offer the full range of dog poses. Crystal is good but her face more resembles the Medusa actor. Pet Avengers assemble!
